WICSEC Scholarship
The scholarship deadline was May 22, 2026. We are excited to award 4 in-person full scholarships and one ‘registration only’ Honorary Lifetime Member (HLM) scholarship in honor of Darryll Grubbs. Scholarships cover registration, hotel, and a stipend towards travel expenses. Congratulations to the 2026 Scholarship recipients!

WICSEC’s 2026 Conference is fast approaching, and we’re excited to offer outstanding learning and networking opportunities once again. The conference will take place in Tucson, Arizona, from Monday, October 26 through Friday, October 30, 2026.
This year, we are pleased to award five (5) scholarships:
- Four in‑person scholarships covering:
- Conference registration fee for in-person attendance
- Four nights of lodging
- A travel stipend of up to $1,000 for travel expenses (transportation by air or car, parking fees, baggage fees, and meals not included with the conference
- One registration‑only scholarship, generously funded by the WICSEC Honorary Life Members
- All scholarship recipients will also be recognized at the conference and featured in a WICSEC social media post.
2026 Scholarship Application Information
First‑time attendee or returning participant—everyone has a chance to be selected for a scholarship.
Please provide complete responses and remember that scholarships are highly competitive — take the time to thoughtfully answer each question.
Don’t wait! The application process is simple, but the window is short.
Please note: In addition to applying online, a Scholarship Application Authorization Form must be signed and submitted (uploaded in PDF format) during the online Scholarship Application process.
Applications submitted without this form will not be reviewed.

Scholarship Applicant Requirements:
- Applicants must be currently employed with the Title IV-D child support program. This includes state, county, tribal and contract staff.
- Applicants agree to allow use of their photographic image in future WICSEC publications, including but not limited to conference brochures as well as social media posts.
- Applicant’s authorizing supervisor must attest that, should the applicant be awarded the scholarship, they will be able to attend.
