WICSEC Scholarship Criteria & Application

WICSEC will be awarding six scholarships this year, two in-person scholarships and four virtual scholarships.

Scholarship Application


If you have never attended a WICSEC Conference in-person, you could be the lucky recipient of a scholarship!

Please note: In addition to applying online, a Scholarship Application Authorization Form must be signed and submitted (uploaded in PDF format) during the online Scholarship Application process. Applications submitted without this form will not be reviewed. 

Scholarship applicants must:

  • Applicants must attest that they have never attended an in-person WICSEC Conference.

  • Their supervisor must attest that, should they be awarded the scholarship, they will be able to attend.

  • Applicants agree to allow use of their photographic image in future WICSEC publications, including but not limited to conference brochures and social media posts.

  • Applicants must agree to write a brief article about their experience at the WICSEC conference.

  • Applicants must be currently employed with the Title IV-D child support enforcement program. This includes state, county, tribal and contract staff. 

In-person scholarship winners receive the following:

  • Conference registration
  • Four nights of lodging from Sunday, November 6 through Thursday, November 10
  • Up to $1,000 stipend applied toward airfare/travel & transportation to/from the hotel and meals not covered by the conference
  • Acknowledgment at the annual conference
  • A highlighted feature in a WICSEC social media post

Virtual scholarship winners receive the following:

  • Virtual conference registration with a value of $149 per scholarship
  • A highlighted feature in a WICSEC social media post
