The value of kindness is often overlooked in the workplace, but science has shown that kindness matters. The return on an investment in kindness is exponential. Whether you work on a team or you’re in charge of an entire office, this session will provide an overview of how to foster a culture of caring in your workplace using scientifically backed strategies.

Veronica Riley is currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the Western Intergovernmental Child Support Engagement Council (WICSEC). She is also active in the National Child Support Engagement Association (NCSEA), the California Child Support Directors Association (CSDA) and the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA).

Veronica has over 20 years of experience in California child support and has worked in various capacities in the county, state, and private sector. She is the President of Veronica Riley Training & Consulting, where she provides a range of training and consulting services to the human service industry.

She holds a B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Chico and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from CSU, San Bernardino. Veronica lives in Lodi, California with her husband, Mike, and their two adorable Sheepadoodles, Mae West and Chester A. Arthur. She loves cooking and dancing in the kitchen.
