Description
Each state calculates child support a little differently. Some use a percentage of the payor’s gross income while others use an income shares model. The definition of income may vary too. ![]() | Leader, Child Support Enforcement State & Local Government Health & Human Services Ethan McKinney is the Child Support Enforcement Leader for Amazon Web Services’ state and local government team. In this role, he draws on his child support experience to help AWS serve state and local government customers as they seek to apply technology to improve outcomes for their child support programs. Before coming to AWS, he was a deputy prosecuting attorney and Child Support Director for the St. Joseph County, IN Prosecutor’s Office. He served as an Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council representative during every step of Indiana’s INvest project to modernize Indiana’s child support system. He is currently a member of the National Child Support Enforcement Association Board of Directors. He lives in Mishawaka, IN with his wife, Jennifer, 2 daughters, Elly and Nora, and their German Shepherd, Zeb. |
![]() | Tommy Howard First Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and Director Warren County, Ohio CSEA Tommy Howard is a First Assistant Prosecutor and the Director of the Warren County CSEA. He graduated Cum Laude from Wright State University in 2001with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2004 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar the same year. He was admitted to the U.S. Federal Bar in 2005. Over his career, Tommy has become recognized as a subject matter expert on the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA). He is the Immediate Past President of the Eastern Regional Interstate Child Support Association. Tommy served on a workgroup when Ohio was implementing UIFSA 2008. He has presented numerous times at State & regional conferences. |
